The Court of Cassation confirmed the violation Rosneft antimonopoly law

In particular, one of the items of the contract stipulated that the list of vendors from whom ZAO Tambovnefteprodukt carries out procurement of petroleum products for sale in gas stations, subject to agreement with OAO Rosneft.

ZAO Tambovnefteprodukt occupies a dominant position in the wholesale and retail market of petroleum products in Tambov region, Tambov therefore FAS Russia considers this condition to limit competition.

For violation of the antimonopoly legislation of the company were fined. The total size of the sanctions amounted to more than 45 million rubles.

Tambov FAS Russia issued a warrant of OAO NK Rosneft and CJSC Tambovnefteprodukt demanding an end to violations of antitrust laws. Company performed the requirement and terminated the contract, noted in the announcement of FAS.

Tambov Head of FAS Russia Elena Grechishnikova expressed confidence that the enforcement provisions will facilitate the entrance of the regional market for other companies, the development of competition in the market of petroleum products and, consequently, lower prices for petroleum products in the wholesale and retail link.
