Ukraine is interested in increasing exports to Morocco sunflower oil and meat and dairy products. This was during a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco in Ukraine Abdelzhalilem Sauburi said Economics Minister of Ukraine Bohdan Danilishin.
In doing so, he called the agriculture one of the most promising sectors of cooperation between the two countries.
Ukraine is interested in expanding presence in the Moroccan market of agricultural products, primarily due to increase in export of Ukrainian sunflower oil, meat and dairy products and cereals, - said Boris Danilishin.
Parties noted the need to intensify bilateral trade and economic cooperation (TPP), which in October is scheduled to hold the first meeting of the TPP and the Business Forum in Rabat (Morocco).
The sides pointed out that the two countries is promising cooperation in the modernization of mining equipment, engineering and shipbuilding. Ukrainian enterprises, said B. Danilishin, mashinotehnicheskogo interested in supplying equipment for shipbuilding and heavy industry, agriculture, as well as for the reconstruction of industrial facilities in the territory of Morocco.
In addition, Ukraine may also offer a wide range of investment programs in the construction sector, particularly transport and port infrastructure, irrigation and irrigation systems, etc. Also, according to B. Danilishina, forward-looking vision of the development of Ukrainian-Moroccan cooperation in education and training.
Economics Minister of Ukraine noted that for the past 4 years the trade turnover between the two countries increased by 3 times.
In the first half of 2009 the volume of trade in goods amounted to 67.6 million dollars, while exports amounted to 72 million, imports - $ 2 million positive balance for Ukraine was 70 million
