The bill requires

increase from 1 January 2010, excise duty on petrol from 65 euro to 180 euro /ton, diesel fuel - from 45 Euro to 120 Euro /t. The document also provides for the imposition of differential rates of tax levied from the owners of vehicles depending on their weight. Now, for the trucks has a unified rate of 2,71 UAH per year. Under the bill, the tax for this car with its full weight to 11.6 tons should reach 978 UAH per year, to 14.74 t - 2.42 UAH, up to 20.7 tons - 7,03 UAH.

The explanatory note to the bill notes that the additional revenue from higher excise tax in 2010 amount to 7.3 billion UAH. A new system of taxation of trucks will bring 551.66 million UAH. Attracted funds are invited to send for repair and construction of roads, which is necessary for the successful holding in Ukraine of Euro-2012.
