At the same time, according to the All-Ukrainian Environmental League, Cabinet has increased the level of GMO content in food products for mandatory labeling of 0.1% to 0.9% in accordance with the standards adopted in the European Union.
Accordingly, Gospotrebstandart plans this year to increase the number of subordinate laboratory to determine the presence of GMOs in food products from two to nine.
