Zakarpattia SBU unveiled smuggling fraud in importing prestige cars.

As stated in the report, members of the Security Service in the Transcarpathian region initiated a criminal case on the grounds of the crimes provided for part 2 of Art. 201, Part 3, Article. 358, part 1 art. 212 of the Penal Code, with respect to persons, to establish a mechanism to smuggle into Ukraine prestigious cars of foreign production.

essence of smuggling fraud, as reported in the press-service, was to fake the real prices of goods vehicles in the accompanying documents in order to avoid paying into the state budget of the relevant customs duties.
