  One of the main themes held today in Belgrade negotiations between the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev with his Serbian counterpart Boris Tadic was the implementation of the project South Stream. As a result of Russo-Serb dialogue OAO Gazprom and Srbijagas signed a protocol on the Serbian section of the pipeline. According to the document, within 30 days from the date of its signature shall be established a joint venture company South Stream Serbia AG, which will design, build and operate the pipeline section of South Stream on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. Gazprom's share in the SEC will be 51%, Srbijagas - 49%. Gazprom and Srbijagas also agreed to establish a joint venture onunderground gas storage.

In addition, a significant advancement of the project became known yesterday. Turkish President Abdullah Gul during a telephone conversation with the head of Russia's state said that the Turkish government to take all necessary decisions to grant permits for the exploration activities in the EEZ of Turkey in the Black Sea in the interests of gas pipeline project South Stream.

Today newspaper Politiken published a statement of professional Danish Energy Agency Christen Lundta Eriksena indicating support for the project Nord Stream ( «Nord Stream).
